The Opto 22 Developer site has a new groov EPIC and RIO Device Maintenance section

It covers the following groov Manage REST APIs:

  • Updating Firmware
  • Backing up and Restoring Settings
  • Commissioning the Initial User

The section about updating firmware is illustrated using an example Python program. The example is also useful just by itself, if you want to update firmware from a shell script.

The new section coincides with the 4.1.0 release of EPIC and RIO firmware.
